Instructor

Have you been a practicing licensed massage therapist for 3 or more years? Join our team and teach aspiring students the rewarding world of massage. Teaching experience is a plus but not necessary.
A Better You Massage Academe is located in the Hamilton Place area and we are looking for part time or full time instructors. The days and hours will be Tuesday - Friday with morning and/or evening shifts. Additional opportunities for teaching continuing education classes are also available.

Responsibilities include:

Creating daily lesson plans
Teaching and overseeing student learning
Monitoring progress and student clinic
Administrative filing

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Starting $35,000 /year

Academe Director

A Better You Massage Academe is a brand new school in Chattanooga. We are looking for a full time school director. Chattanooga is in need of massage schools with a focus on quality individual education to ensure students graduate with the skills necessary to help people and have a long, healthy career. We will offer business classes as well to teach students all aspects of options for a career in massage along with providing specialized modality courses after graduation.

Facilitating student enrollment
Massage instruction and lesson planning
Hiring and training new massage instructors
Overseeing that THEC and other state regulations are being met
Assisting with marketing and obtaining new students.
